With more than 20 years experience in the field, Sheena’s practice covers a wide range of IP and technology. She frequently advises multinational clients on IP issues as well as providing advice on data protection and technology issues.
In particular, Sheena has been advising the Direct Marketing Association of Singapore on the new Personal Data Protection Bill 2012. She has acted for DMAS as well as the Business Software Alliance in providing feedback on the draft data protection legislation.
Sheena also assists companies in dealing with privacy and data protection issues in the Asian region, having advised various multinational clients on such issues across a range of Asian countries including Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam and Indonesia. She advises technology and media companies on issues relating to broadcasting and internet content.
Sheena is qualified to practice in New York, England & Wales and Singapore and has a strong understanding of international IP and technology issues across a number of countries. She is ranked as a leading IP lawyer in a number of directories, including Chambers, Asialaw and Managing IP. She has a Masters in Law in Trade Regulation from New York University School of Law.
